Going Downtown

So I went downtown today and had some amazing Indian food in the village. The Village was alive, with the return of NYU kids. They seemed more down to earth than some of the kids here at Columbia. After the meal, I asked them where to find the best dessert called Galabie. The search took us to Times Square and Rockafellar, but sadly the place was closed. So, we decided to hit up the H & M store, so we could look like the locals. Later, I met up with a good buddy of mine on 72nd street and we went to a kosher resturant and had some Ice Cream.

First Day in NYC

We began by flying from SeaTac to Newark on a long 4 hour ride. As we stepped off the plane the airport was crowded and we spent the evening in several lines waiting for things. Finally, the blue shuttle bus swept us from NJ to the Big apple. Columbia wasn’t what I thought it would be. The four of us guys are in one room and Bea decided that it would be the official meeting room. Dinner was finally had after spending some time walking the streets mostly down Broadway. Pizza was on our menu. We ate and returned to our new homes.
