It's almost over

Well it’s almost coming to a close. I feel like I haven’t stopped moving for weeks. My body and mind are starting to go into sleepy mode. My time in New York has been phenomenal. I’ve seen pretty much everything I wanted to see. The perfect mix of touristy stuff and non-touristy stuff. Since my last post I’ve seen Wicked, Blue Man Group, lots more museums, and Evil Dead the musical. All of which were amazing. We also saw a few plays in a small theater during the Under the Radar festival. Wonderful plays performed by small theater groups or artists flying “under the radar.” We visited Brooklyn, and Coney Island. Too much stuff to even list. It’s been great.

But I’ve started to realize how much I really miss home. I miss my family, my dog, and my bed. I’m torn. I really like New York. The people and the city are so wonderful. Everything moves faster. I feel so independent here. On the other hand, I love my home and my friends. Maybe some day I can move to the city and spend some time here on my own. But until then, I’ll be happy where I am.
