As an art student at PLU I am honored to be Bea Geller's assistant. I recieved my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Art this December and plan on applying to graduate schools as soon as I get back from New York.

I am very excited to explore New York City with these amazing students and our amazing professor. It will be inspiring to see my peers develop and grow as artists. There is nothing more fun than sharing the process of art with a community: taking visual risks, bouncing ideas around, and just PLAYING.

Photography is an artform that captures nature in a dynamic way: people react to photography strongly for its connection to reality, its capturing the beauty of everyday life, and its ability to warp reality. In photographing one of the most surreal cities in the world, we will delve into the world of art by exploring ourselves through our experiences.
